b e s t i a l

In the desert
I saw a creature, naked, bestial,
Who, squatting upon the ground,
Held his heart in his hands,
And ate of it.
I said, ”Is it good, friend?”
”It is bitter–bitter,” he answered;

”But I like it
”Because it is bitter,
”And because it is my heart.”

(Stephen Crane)

b e s t i a l is a sort of a fable or an urban pastoral that approaches animal as a metaphor for human.

It is a process full of metamorphosis, humanizing and desire to break free from the prisons of our own consciousness.

The creation studies primal instincts and drives, looks for the extremities of tenderness and cruelty and wonders human’s stubborn will to escape it’s own animalis.

What does the silence of the animals bring out in us?
